About Resource Libraries
Frameweld has extensive experience developing Resource Libraries for various organizations including national associations, nonprofits, federally-funded technical assistance projects, broadcasters, state departments of education, and private companies. We do not advocate a one-size-fits-all approach for building a Resource Library. Instead, we develop a solution that is suited to the needs and goals of the client, and its end users. Our flexible software development methodology enables the configuration of a Resource Library in a number of ways to incorporate unique functionality and workflows specific to a program.
Over the years, we have developed Resource Libraries that have supported a number of formats, taxonomies, and workflows, including custom built Content Management Systems (CMS) to manage them. We embrace Universal Design principles for maximum accessibility and use responsive design to reach users across multiple devices. Findability and searchability of information is another important feature of our Resource Libraries.

IDEA Data Center
Frameweld developed a specialized Resource Library to showcase IDC’s Tools and Products and other resources. We introduced a publishing and approval workflow to allow staff and administrators to work collaboratively to keep the library continuously updated with relevant information. Highlights include custom taxonomies, powerful search, tagging and filter tools, user contributed resources, grouping of resources, and deep integration with a professional learning community.

Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network (PaTTAN)
PaTTAN offers over 13,000 resources to education professionals across Pennsylvania through its website. These resources include a wide variety of publications, presentations, videos, assistive technology equipment that can be ordered on loan, accessible instructional materials, and much more. E-commerce integration allows users to place orders for certain items. Resources are grouped by category for easy browsing and filtering. Search can be performed within a category or applied across the entire library to quickly find relevant resources.
