Frameweld works with the Pennsylvania Department of Education to deliver information using innovative methods. Selected events at the PDE Conferences are streamed live for the enjoyment and convenience of all viewers. For maximum accessibility these events are streamed in combination with a live transcription and display of the slide presentations. Prior to the event, count down timers are used to create viewer awareness. An optional email update feature is in place to generate live event reminders and notify users when new presentations are published to the site. The events are archived immediately following the presentations, and the interface is edited to accommodate the on-demand video. Global and local search features on the site allow the user to jump to specific points in any video within seconds.
The end result delivers a collection of archived video from current and previous years with related content for download including the conference program, transcripts, slides, and handouts.
